Maastricht, 27 November 2000
American rider Molly Ashe has won the Grand Prix of Maastricht yesterday. Ashe was with her horse Kroon Gravin the fastest combination in a clear jump-off.

She stayed half a second ahead of Sweden’s Rolf Goran Bengtsson with Opstalan’s Chanel. Her fellow-country woman Lesley Howard, riding Priobert de Kalvari, ended on the third place, before the Dutchman Jos Lansink, who rode TNT Zandor Z to the fourth place.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Jumping Indoor Maastricht, a three-counties carriage driving marathon obstacle course was organized as a show between the jumping classes. Each team existed of a horse-and ponyteam. Germany, represented by Michael Freund (horses) and Gerhard Gerich (ponies) won this indoor-competition, ahead of The Netherlands (IJsbrand Chardon and Aart van de Kamp) and Belgium (Gert Schrijvers and Bart Verdroncken).
