FEI Driving Committee Elections: Joanna Attenborough

Jo Attenborough has had a long-standing involvement within our sport. She has experienced international competition from many roles eventually becoming a world-class competitor in horse pairs.

Having lived and competed throughout Europe for many years, she can easily identify with the different systems that operate within many countries, national federations and of course have a full understanding of the FEI and it's functions.

Over the years she has experienced the different approaches of competing at high level, in the early years as a fully funded full time producer with the support of top trainers, facilities and backup support.

In recent years as a self funded producer with family and friends as support whilst maintaining a full time business in equine laser therapy and thermal technology. These experiences enable her to empathize with the different competitors within our sport.

As a European trainer in laser technology systems she has the necessary skills and confidence to represent our athletes within the FEI community.

If appointed as athletes representative she wants to see our sport continue to progress in its development to ensure high quality competition that supports a fair playing field for all.

To enable all competitors to compete and commit their lives and finances to a sport that conducts itself without prejudice or corruption.

That we retain the family orientated sport that produces comradeship between its competitors.
A quality that makes this sport stand head and shoulders above the other equine disciplines.
