FEI – announces rankings for the Top Driver Awards

With the completion of all of the outdoor competitions, the FEI has announced the new rankings for the Top Driver Awards: the drivers who have had the best presentations over the past year.

Single Pony

After placing eighth last year, Germany’s Marlena Brenner has made the climb to the top of the list. Germany dominates the division with teammates Fabian Gänshirt and Katja Helpertz taking second and third place positions.

Pair Pony

For the second consecutive year Karine Poentis (FRA) leads the pair pony division followed by Rodinde Rutjens (NL) and Pieter Van Den Broeck (BEL)

Pony Team

Moving up from third place last year, Tinne Bax (BEL) is the team pony winner followed by Jan de Boer (NL) and moving down one place is Roger Campbell (GBR) in third.

Single Horse

Bartlomiej Kwiatek (POL) is the winner of the single horse division beating out Anne Violaine Brisou (FRA) and his sister Weronika Kwiatek (POL).

Pair Horse

Hungary’s Martin Hölle has completed a fantastic season and along with his world championship is also ranked as the number one driver this year. Second place is Lars Schwitte (GER) and in third is Rafal Wojtacha (POL)

 

Horse Team

Remaining undefeated this year in all of the outdoor competitions, Australia’s Boyd Exell is the undoubted winner of this division. Chester Weber (USA) finishes behind him in second and Koos de Ronde (NL) in third.
