Driving seminar Lipica with Boyd Exell

Stud Farm Lipica in Slovenia, candidate for the 2013 FEI World Pair Driving Championships, organises an international Driving Seminar on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March for drivers, trainers and officials. The organisation is extremely pleased to announce that World Champion four-in-hand driving Boyd Exell from Australia is one of the lecturers. As it is the World Championship year for singles, this year’s main theme is single driving but pair and four-in-hand driving are also included in the programme.
Correct bitting
During this seminar Boyd Exell and the German O-judge Franz Vetter will discuss interesting and informative subjects. Vetter will treat the basic education system and scales of training principals in the theoretical and practical parts.
Boyd Exell will give a presentation on contact and correct bitting. Boyd will also talk about his private training programme and how to recognize correct and comfortable pair settings.
The participants will be actively involved by judging several turnouts and dressage horses.
During the dinner on Saturday evening there will be an open discussion of dressage, supported by videotapes.
Lipica
The seminar will take place in Hotel Maestoso on the site of the Lipizzaner Stud farm in Lipica, Slovenia, where the participants can also book hotel rooms. Lipica successfully organized the FEI World Driving Championships - Combined Ponies in September 2011 and has put in a bid to host the FEI World Pair Driving Championships in 2013. Lipica will host an international driving event (CAI-A) for horse singles and horse pairs from 27 to 30 September 2012.

The costs for this two-day seminar are 99 EUR per person including dinner on Saturday evening.
