International promotion for judges Bonhof and Boom

Dutch driving judges Peter Bonhof and Jaap Boom are internationally promoted. International judge Peter Bonhof has received the O-status from the FEI. This is the highest status an FEI-official can get. National judge Jaap Boom is promoted to candidate international judge and is now allowed to judge at international driving events.

Bonhof is a well-known, recognized and beloved international judge who regularly judges at many international driving competitions. Bonhof, who is 70 years old, also judged at the World four-in-hand Championships in Beesd 2008, World Pairs in Kescekemét 2009 and is member of the Ground Jury at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. With this O-status, Bonhof may now be appointed President of the Jury at CAIO competitions and World Championships.

Jaap Boom has been judging for many years at national level and is also a certified driving instructor. Boom was the chef d’equipe for the Dutch horse teams from 1996 to 2004 and achieved many successes. Boom (60) is also the Show Director of the international four-in-hand competitions at Breda Hippique who successfully hosted the World Para Equestrian Driving Championships last weekend.
