Lipica: Great score for Martin Hölle

Today was the first day of dressage at the FEI World Driving Championships for Pairs in Lipica. After a cold night, the driver were welcomed in the new arena with wonderful sunshine and nice temperatures. Hungary's top young talent Martin Hölle took the provisional lead with a magnificent test and scored 35,57 penalty points.

Switzerland’s leading man Beat Schenk is currently in second position with seven points difference to Hölle, closely followed by the German team member Lars Schwitte and the defending World Champion Vilmos Lázár.

 The remaining 40 competitors, including the 2015 silver and bronze medalists Zoltán Lázár and Jozsef Dibak, will enter the arena on Friday at 09.00.
