Mezöhegyes: 31 horses to the Young Horse World Driving Championships

From September 9-11, Mezöhegyes, Hungary is set to host the second World Championship for 5,6 and 7 year-old driving horses. In total thirty-one horses are planning to start.

Ten horses will be presented in the division for 5 year-old driving horses. They will be driven for the international jury consisting of Anne Marie Turbé (Fra), Joaquin Medina (Esp), Klaus Christ (Ger) and Nicke Pålsson (Swe). Germany, Hungary and Poland have sent horses for this class.

There are eight 6 year-old horses coming representing five countries, including one competitor from newcomer Greece. The 2015 World Champion 5 year-old Enfado P driven by Jovanca Marie Kessler (Ger) wil try to take the title again this year by the 6 year-olds.

Bartlomiej Kwiatek who won the gold and silver in 2015 with his six year old Bazyli and Frezja will be big favourites in the seven year old competition this year. In total there will be thirteen horses from six different countries making this the biggest division.
