The German drivers put down very good performances at the start of the CAIO Minden. Fabian Gänshirt, who already won in Bregenz and Dillenburg this year, won with a big advantage with a score of 40,45. Runners-up are Great Britain’s Robert Buck and Martin Hölle from Hungary with 45.89 on the second place. Hölle competes with his World Champion pony Apache de la Licorne.

The German team is in the lead of the nations competition for the singles. Besides Gänshirt, also Sandra Schäfer (61,95) and Patrick Hanisch (51,33) belong to the team. The advantage to Great Britain is four points, while Denmark is lying third with seven points difference.

After the heat of the past days, it was cool today and windy with some rain showers. The pony pairs also had their horse inspection in the morning. One pony of Dutch driver Yvonne Houten-Hovens did not pass, so the Dutch pair team now exists of Rodinde Rutjens, Dirk Neerincx and Manon van Kasteren. Their dressage is today after the horse inspection of the four-in-hands.
