New Veterinarian for German Team

With the beginning of the 2015 season, a new veterinarian will be tending to the German combined driving team. The current team veterinarian for driving, Marc Koene will be making a step over to the German dressage team, and Mathilde Pluim will be taking over the driving horses.


Marc Koene has been responsible for all of the driving horses in the German team since 2005. Koene, who is Dutch but resides in Lüsche, Germany will be moving to the dressage team, formerly overseen by Cordula Gather, who due to her busy schedule no longer had time to see to the German dressage team. 

Marc Koene's collegue Mathilde Pluim, who is also a Dutch vet, will take over the responsibilites of the driving horses. Pluim is specialized in orthopedics and lazer therapy an has assisted Koene regularily with the driving horses.
