Sandringham: Germans snatch lead from the Netherlands

At the end of the second day of competition at the FEI World Para-Equestrian World Championships, the German team snatched the lead from the Netherlands. Disappointment for the overnight leaders came early on when Adriaan Struijk - who was lying in Silver Medal position after dressage in the Grade I competition - was eliminated in Obstacle 1 for missing a gate. On the positive side, Jacques Poppen finished his marathon on 71.28 for second place and kept his lead in Grade I on a total of 107.18 for the two phases.
