Sixth Annual Valkenswaard-Achel Coaching Meet
The driving club 'Hoofdstad Aanspanning' and the Van den Heuvel and Van der Wiel families are hosting their annual boarder crossing coaching run on May 10th.
The run will begin at 10:30am with coaches leaving Van den Heuvels Carriage Museum in Valkenswaard. Along the way they will be making various stops including the old monastery, the Achelse Kluis. A picknick lunch will take place on the grounds of the harness makers Gebr. van der Wiel in Hamont-Achel where prizes will be awarded. The drive will continue via a stop at the new accomodation of Four-in-hand World Champion Boyd Exell in Borkel en Schaft and will end again by the Carriage Museum in Valkenswaard. The Carriage Museum will be open to the public with free admittance the entire day.
