Stockholm: IJsbrand Chardon wins first competition

Dutch four-in-hand driver IJsbrand Chardon had an excellent start in Stockholm and won the first competition of the FEI World Cup™ Driving in the Friends Arena. He stayed ahead of German drivers Georg von Stein and Michael Brauchle.

With only one knock down and a fast time in the course designed by Swedish course designer Dan Henriksson, Chardon’s result turned out to be the best tonight. He finished with more than 10 seconds ahead of Georg von Stein who also had one ball down. Michael Brauchle drove the fastest round, but with 20 penalties to add he ended up on the third place. Father and son József Dobrovitz and József Dobrovitz Jr. finished fourth and fifth ahead of wild card driver Axel Olin.
The FEI World Cup Driving competition in Stockholm is scheduled for Sunday, 29 November at 20.30 hrs.
