Stockholm: Dobrovitz strong again

Hungary’s Jozsef Dobrovitz continued his winning mood of last weekend in Stuttgart by winning the warm up competition of the FEI World Cup driving in Stockholm this evening. Dobrovitz drove his team of Lipizzan horses smoothly through the technical course and set the fastest time of the evening.

Young father Boyd Exell tried to beat Dobrovitz’ time but came six seconds short after he hit a ball. Sweden’s Fredrik Persson started his World Cup season in Stockholm and was cheered by the enthusiastic spectators in the Globen Aren. The 35 year old driver came third, ahead of his compatriot Tomas Eriksson, who competes with a wild card. Werner Ulrich was the only driver with a clear round, but his team of Swiss bred horses could not keep up with the speed of his fellow competitors and came fifth, ahead of Zoltan Lázár.
