Team Weber gets a fresh grip on competition thanks to Klick and Ride

You don't become an undisputed 13-time champion without knowing how to 'get a grip' on your competition— which is why the record National Four-in-Hand Champion in U.S. history, Chester Weber of Ocala, Florida, and his team of KWPN geldings co-owned with Jane F. Clark, have started a new sponsorship with Europe's innovative horseshoe stud system, Klick and Ride.

“We chose Klick and Ride because it is a huge time saver when putting in the 32 studs necessary for a four-in-hand team. Moreover, it's a quality product,” said Weber. “It will allow us to quickly change studs in the warm-up if necessary or midway through marathon. It is a very helpful option to be able to change or adjust your horse’s studs as the weather changes, or if you sense one of your horses may be slipping.”

Team Weber will keep good company with Klick and Ride Ambassadors, including German Driving Champions Tobias Bucker and Dieter Baackmann and show jumper Ignacio Gil-Fournier of Spain.

Jessica Baruffolo of Klick and Ride said, “After 15 years of relentless dedication, Sergio Baruffolo, the inventor of Klick and Ride, brought his product to completion. Sergio and his work partner André Vandersmissen started establishing the horseshoe stud system in the European market and overseas to the great satisfaction of jumpers, eventing riders, and combined drivers. We hope to reach out to the whole combined driving industry with Chester on our team.
“Klick and Ride choose to sponsor Chester Weber because he is one of the best drivers in the world, and we feel his success and reputation meet the standards of our company. We are convinced that our product will meet his expectations,” said Baruffolo.

Team Weber will be sporting the Klick and Ride studs this summer in Europe, where the team is preparing to return to The Royal Windsor CAI3* on May 11-15.
