Wild card for Thibault Coudry in Bordeaux

French four-in-hand driver Thibault Coudry has received the wild card for the last FEI World Cup competition of this season in Bordeaux, France. The seventh leg of the FEI World Cup Driving season 2009-2010 will take place on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 February in the Parc des Expositions in Bordeaux-Lac.


Coudry competed with a wild card in the World Cup competition in Geneva in December 2008, where he put down an excellence performance and took the second place. The 29-year old farmer and lorry driver won the marathons of the international competitions in Saumur and Conty in 2009 and was also the overall winner in Conty.

In Bordeaux, Coudry will compete against World Champion IJsbrand Chardon from the Netherlands and his compatriot Theo Timmerman, Tomas Eriksson from Sweden, Werner Ulrich from Switzerland and Jiri Nesvacil from the Czech Republic.
The warm up competition is scheduled on Friday 5 February at 23.00 hrs. The World Cup competition takes place on Saturday 6 February at 22.45 hrs.
Bordeaux is the last competition before the Final in Geneva on 16 and 17 April, where the Top Six drivers of the standings after Bordeaux will start.
