Wild card for Glenn Geerts and Koos de Ronde in Mechelen

The Belgian driver Glenn Geerts and the Dutch Four-in-hand driver Koos de Ronde have received a wild card for the World Cup driving competition in Mechelen on 29 and 30 December.

Glenn Geerts finished on the honourable seventh place at the EC for Four-in-Hands in Izsák. The 24-year-old Geerts started with a wild card in the Nekkerhal in 2011 and 2012. In 2012 he achieved the 4th place.

Koos de Ronde has „something” with Mechelen. The defending World Cup Champion from Zwartewaal has already won the World Cup event in Mechelen four times before and he is obviously keen on winning this beautiful competition for the fifth time again.

Geerts and de Ronde will compete against Theo Timmerman (NED), Jozsef Dobrovitz jun. (HUN), Jozsef Dobrovitz (HUN), Georg von Stein (GER) and Tomas Eriksson (SWE).
