Anna Sandmann starting in Aachen

At the close of the international competition in Riesenbeck, German team coach Karl-Heinz Geiger announced that the following German team drivers will be representing Germany from 17 - 22 July at prestigious Aachen. Michael Brauchle, Mareike Harm, Sebastian Heß, Christoph Sandmann and Georg von Stein will be representing Germany in Aachen. The very talented Anna Sandmann has received an person invitation from the organization in Aachen to compete.

This will be the first international season as a four-in-hand driver for the 22 year-old Sandmann. Anna had a very successful pair career, but this year has stepped up to drive her fathers horses in Lähden two weeks ago and this week in Riesenbeck she secured an 11th place in the dressage and in the marathon. In the cones with only 3,49 penalty points she managed to hold onto her 11th placing over the entire field. Christoph Sandmann finished 7th after Georg von Stein who, as the best German placed sixth.

In addition to Anna, Bram Chardon will also be making his debut in Aachen this year.
