Ashfields candidate ECH Youth and WCH Para Driving 2024, Flyinge bids for ECH 2024

Both Ashfields in Great Britain and Flyinge in Sweden have put in a bid to organise the FEI Driving European Championship for Young Drivers, Juniors & Children 2024. Ashfields furthermore applied to host the FEI Para Driving World Championship for Singles 2024 at the same time as the Youth Championships.

Allocation in June 2022

The European Championship for Children, Juniors and Young Drivers has never been held in Great Britain or Sweden before. The first official European Championship was held in 2013 in Szilvásvárad, Hungary.

The World Para Driving Championship was held before in the UK; Hopetoun hosted this Championship in 2004 while Sandringham organised the Championship in 2014.
Ashfields has hosted a national competition for years and has been the site of the British National Championships several times.
Flyinge has never organised an international championship before but has a history in hosting national driving events.
Ashfields has put down the date 19-25 August 2024, Flyinge goes for 22-28 July 2024.

The FEI will allocate the Championships in June 2022.

The next European Championships for the Youth will just like in 2018 take place in Kisbér-Ászár, Hungary, from 16-21 August 2022.

There are no candidates yet for the Para Driving Championships 2022.
