International competition Beekbergen ready to go!

The 33rd edition of CAI Beekbergen is ready to start. The grounds have been prepared for the international driving competition and the Dutch Championship for Four-in-Hand and Para Drivers. The promo village has been built and the first competitors will arrive tomorrow afternoon.

After two years of absence due to the corona pandemic, the organization is eager to get started. On Thursday the competition starts with the dressage of the pairs. In addition to the prizes for the CAI and the Dutch medals, there is a special prize for the Dutch pair drivers. The founders of the Beekbergen driving competition, the Van Tergouw family, established the ‘Van Tergouw plaque’ in 1992. That is an exchange prize for the best Dutch pair driver of the international driving competition in Beekbergen. In the past two editions (2018 and 2019), Antonie ter Harmsel won this prize. He now drives a team, so it is certain that there will be a new winner of this special prize.

This show is powered by Garvo, a company that aims for a world in which people and animals have all the space they need to enjoy life. The Veluwe Hunt is the prime example of the collaboration between humans and animals. The dogs will be in front, horses and riders behind. A beautiful show is promised!
