Breda: setback for Georg von Stein

A huge setback for German four-in-hand driver Georg von Stein today at the World Championships for four-in-hand horses in Breda, the Netherlands. His 16 year-old horse Odin 275 after being brought before the judges and veterinarian was declared 'not fit to compete'.

Von Stein, who has been named by team coach Fritz Otto Erley as a member of the German team, will begin the World Championship with a disadvantage as he was planning on using Odin in all parts of the competition. The German team had their eye on a gold medal and it will also be a huge disappointment for them.
