FEI Driving World Championship for Young Horses 2022 to Szilvásvárad

After the Hungarian state stud Szilvásvárad successfully organised the FEI Driving World Championship for Young Horses for the first time in 2021, the FEI has allocated this World Championship again to Szilvásvárad in 2022.

Last October, Szilvásvárad was able to welcome a record number of competitors at the sixth edition of the World Championship for Young Horses. No less than 51 horses from 9 nations competed in this event which is becoming more and more popular.

Szilvásvárad is very pleased with the allocation by the FEI, for which they were the only candidate. In 2024, Szilvásvárad will after 40 years host the FEI Driving World Championship Four-in-Hand again. In 1984, the Hungarian drivers won individual gold, silver and bronze and team gold in Szilvásvárad.

The FEI Driving World Championship for Young Horses will be held from 25-28 August 2022.
