Hungary presents bid for FEI World Four-in-Hand Championships 2022

On Wednesday 11th September, the Hungarian Equestrian Federation presented their bid for the organisation of the FEI Driving World Championships for Four-in-Hands 2022 in Szilvásvárad.

The Hungarian delegation with András Uzsoky, director of National Stud of Szilvásvárad, accompanied by Zsuzsi Mitykó, secretary of the Hungarian Driving Committee, presented the bid project and video to the FEI representatives and replied to all questions.

The FEI was represented by FEI General Secretary Sabrina Ibañez, the Director of the Veterinary Department and representatives of IT, Communications, Legal, Finance, Games Operations, Broadcasting and Driving Departments.

Hungary organized 13 successful Driving World and European Championships in the past and Hungarian drivers are among the top athletes with 103 FEI medals, of which 46 gold ones.

The FEI will decide during the General Assembly in November 2019. The other candidates are Rome/Verona (Italy),  Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates) who have put in multi discipline bids.
