No Belgian delegation to WCH Para Driving

As far as it looks now, Belgium will not be represented at the FEI World Para Equestrian Driving Championships in Sandringham, Great Britain, from 27 to 29 June 2014.

The Belgian Driving Committee has to take an official decision on this, but its president Mia Allo is not available this week due to hospitalisation.
Chef d'équipe of the Belgian para drivers Myriam De Faudeur says it is very unlikely that Belgium will send drivers to the World Championships.
There are only two candidates. One of them, Freddy Soete, withdrew because both the Belgian Driving Committee and himself have doubts about the pony’s capabilities.
The other candidate is Rhine Holzken and there are doubts about the pony’s health.
Both drivers competed at the para equestrian competition in Horst aan de Maas two weeks ago where Holzken finished 8th and Soete 9th.
