Pau: Four nations to compete in Nations Cup for Horse Pairs

On Thursday October 13th, the last large outdoor international driving event of this season will kick off in Pau, France. The site of the very successful 2013 FEI World Pony Driving Championships is now reserved for a Nations Cup competition for Horse Pairs. Teams from The Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain and France will battle it out.

The Dutch are represented with three drivers, Great Britain and Spain will send two drivers each. Host nation France will have four drivers on the start list. Switzerland will send one individual driver.

A total number of 12 drivers will start, but the OC is happy with the entries, despite the small number. The driving competition is part of the complete programme, in which the international eventing competitions have a large part.

The Ground Jury is led by Joaquin Medina and further consist of Marie de Ronde-Oudemans, Bert Jambon, Anne-Marie Turbe and Marie-Pierre Bruneel. Jacques Tamalet is the Course Designer.
