Salteras: all horses fit to compete

The horse inspection of the CAI2* in Salteras, Spain, took place this morning under a lovely warm sunshine. Fifty-seven horses were presented to the international Ground Jury, chaired by Zsuzsanna Mihok from Hungary. All horses were declared fit to compete.

It is the first time that Quemadales Stables in Salteras, close to Seville, hosts an international driving competition. The driving force behind this nice event is host and organiser Miguel Angel Gutierrez Camarillo, who is also a member of the Ground Jury. Barry Capstick from Ireland, Marie de Ronde-Oudemans from the Netherlands and Tiago Gomes from Portugal complete the jury group. Philip Bateman from Great Britain is the capable Technical Delegate, while Vilmos Jámbor from Hungary is the Course Designer.

A total number of 27 competitors will compete in the CAI2* competition and the Andalusian Championships. The organising committee is pleased to have single, pair, four-in-hand and even young drivers and is especially happy to be able welcome Ernesto Colman Mena from Uruguay who is making his return on the international circuit after two years of absence.
