Fivefold World Champion and eight times World Cup Champion Boyd Exell is leading the line-up, but will experience tough competition from the best Dutch drivers. IJsbrand Chardon and Koos de Ronde will defend the Dutch honour. Koos de Ronde is nearly unbeatable in the marathon, he also won the marathon phase at the WEG in Tryon and finished fourth overall. He also won, together with team member IJsbrand and Bram Chardon, the silver team medal.

IJsbrand Chardon: “We went for gold, we were in top shape, but unfortunately things went differently. I am very happy with the World Cup qualifier in Maastricht. I was there during the first edition in 1988 and I have given demonstrations for three years on a row. That was a great experience. Jumping Indoor Maastricht is a top event and I am looking forward to compete.”

The USA’s Chester Weber is also travelling to Maastricht. He won the individual silver and team gold at the WEG. The bronze medallist, Belgium’s Edouard Simonet will give his best together with his compatriot Glenn Geerts (6th). Jérôme Voutaz from Switzerland, who finished fifth at the WEG and who won silver at the World Cup Final in 2017 and 2018, completes the line-up.

A competitor field that promises fireworks!
