Vecsés 2020: Dobrovitz, Szabó and Meskóné are the Hungarian Champions

From 3-6 September the Dobrovitz family welcomed more than 70 national and international drivers at their farm in Vecsés. The competition was a 2* for horse singles, horse pairs, and horse teams, as well as the Hungarian national championships for these categories. After an exciting competition home driver József Dobrovitz (horse teams), Roland Szabó (horse pairs) and Mária Meskóné Orosz (horse singles) were crowned national champions.

Mária Meskóné Orosz stepped on the top of the podium for the third time in a row in the National Championships' history. Andrea Kun won silver and Gábor Lantos came third.

The international 2* competition was won by Pille Riin Roosileht (EST) who competed with the 12-year-old KWPN horse Donald.

Roland Szabó performed well throughout the weekend, won the cones competition with a clear round in time and secured his first ever gold medal in the National Championship.

Host of the event József Dobrovitz was the best in all three phases of the competition and won his 12th national title on home soil. The silver medal went to his son József Dobrovitz jr and the bronze to János Papp who competed with a beautiful team of Nonius horses.
