Piber: Spectacular marathon day
It was a day full of excitement at the CAI3* competition and Danube Alp Cup in Piber where several drivers had bad luck while they were competing in the seven challening obstacles designed by Christian Iseli. Drivers had to tackle one less obstacle as the Ground Jury decided to take obstacle number four out because of the warm weather conditions. Six single drivers and six pair drivers could not finish marathon because of elimination or retirement but fortunately no injuries for anyone. The boiling hot temperature was refreshened by some rain in the afternoon which brought cooler temperature to the showground.
Tomorrow is the final day in Piber starting at 9.00hrs with the cones competition.
