Successful FEI Steward Course in Windsor

Prior to the Royal Windsor Horse Show which celebrates the Queen’s 90th Birthday this year, an FEI Course for Driving Stewards was conducted on the Show Grounds. FEI Chief Steward Jan Devaere from Belgium was the Course Director for the 9 stewards from 5 different nations.

Amongst the stewards from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Great Britain there were several level 1 and 2 stewards for maintenance and also several new level 1 stewards could be welcomed. “I am pleasantly surprised about the level of the candidates,” says Jan Devaere. “Amongst the stewards there were several former drivers, Technical Delegates and national judges. There was a very good interaction between the candidates.”

Today the CAIO for Horse Fours and the CAI3* for Pony Fours in Windsor will start with the Horse Inspection. Because of the rain the day programme in the main arena of the Royal Windsor Horse Show is cancelled.
