Windsor: Barry Capstick wins Horse Pairs Class

The strong performing Irish driver Barry Capstick won the Pairs Class at the Royal Windsor Horse Show today, and put down the best result in the cones as well. Harry Verstappen came second, ahead of Amely von Buchholtz who was very happy with her result.

Capstick laid the basis of his second victory in a row already in the dressage. With his fifth place in the marathon, he managed to keep the lead, and secured it with the best cones result in his class. Marathon winner Harrie Verstappen stayed on the second place after a very hard cones competition where none of the 15 drivers could drive a clear round. Patrick de Vries ended on the eighth place in the final ranking, after his excellent third place in the marathon, and he can look back with satisfaction to his debut in Windsor.
