Chablis: The winners

The majority of the international driving world was in action last weekend with four international driving events on the same weekend as well as National Championships in Germany and Austria. Chablis in France organised a successful two and three-star competition again in which over 70 competitors from 9 nations competed.

Dutch driver Marissa Schuiling won the single pony class, followed by her compatriot Arion Vissers and Laetitia Maricourt.

Dutch drivers Cas Hendriks and Woutera van de Kamp dominated the pony pairs class and finished first and second. Belgium's Pieter van den Broeck came third.

Dieter Höfs was the only German driver in Chablis and he won the pony four-in-hand class after a strong battle with Aart van de Kamp jr. (NED) and Denis Billet (BEL).

Organiser Marion Vignaud put down an excellent performance in Chablis. She won the dressage and the marathon which put her in a comfortable lead before the cones. One knock down did not keep her from winning on her home base, ahead of Renaud Vinck (FRA) and Franz Schiltz (LUX).

Franck Grimonprez (archive photo) won the Horse Pairs class after a close battle with François Dutilloy and Vincent Serazin. Dutilloy also competed in the two-star single horse class, which he won ahead of Rudolf Pestman.

Athony Horde put down the best performances in the horse teams class and won. Thibault Coudry claimed the second place, while Peter de Ronde finished third.
