World Para Driving Championships Schildau cancelled

Today it was officially announced that the FEI World Para Driving Championships in Schildau, Germany, have been cancelled. The Championships were due to take place from August 6 to 9 and were supposed to be the highlight of the season for the para drivers. The organisation and the German Equestrian Federation have offered the FEI to host the Championship in 2021.

“It is a great disappointment for all people involved that with the cancellation of the World Championships in Schildau another event has become victim of the corona crisis,” says FEI Director Driving Manuel Bandeira de Mello. “We respect the decision of the OC to cancel the World Championships in order to guarantee the health of all people involved.”
