Top-Class Drivers start in Riesenbeck – Last Minute Entry from IJsbrand Chardon

A total number of 26 international horse teams will compete at the equestrian centre Surenburg from June 21 to June 23, 2019. In addition to the regular competition phases dressage, marathon and cones, a further competition is added this year: The German Driving Derby. For this, an extra class added will be added; the Top Score Competition, which takes place in the main arena under floodlight on Friday evening.

Other than the overall winner from last year, Chester Weber (USA), and the Hungarian father-son-team Dobrovitz, the “old master” IJsbrand Chardon from the Netherlands has confirmed his late entry today. Next to drivers from Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden and Switzerland, 15 German horse team drivers will fight for the German Championship. The current German Champion Georg von Stein is eager to defend his title. Christoph Sandmann took the title in Riesenbeck in 2017.
