Competitors CAIO Aachen announced

The complete competitors list from the world's largest international equestrian event in Aachen from 17th to 22nd July is announced. A total number of 24 competitors from 9 nations will start. Title defenders are Boyd Exell in the individual class and the Dutch team in the Nations Cup. Boyd Exell won the CAIO Aachen 8 times before, the Dutch drivers are hoping to take home the gold medal for the 11th consecutive time. Young drivers Bram Chardon (NED) and Anna Sandmann (GER) make their debut in Aachen.

Tuesday 17 July
10.00 hrs: Horse Inspection

Wednesday 18 July 
13.00 hrs: Dressage, opening class, does not count for the individual and team classification

Thursday 19 July
10.00 hrs: Dressage, counts for the individual and team classification

Friday 20 July 
11.00 hrs: Cones Top Score Competition-does not count for the individual and team classification

Saturday 21 July
14.30 hrs: Marathon, counts for the individual and team classification. The Phase A is replaced by a controlled Warm-up (min 30 minutes before starting time) in a designated warm-up arena, including a marathon-type obstacle for preparation purposes.21.30 hrs: Combined Eventing-, Jumping and Driving Competition in the Main Stadium, does not count for the individual and team classification

Sunday 22 July 
10.00 hrs: Cones, counts for the individual and team classification
12.30 hrs: Prize Giving Ceremony

Competitors Extra Class Saturday evening

The competitors for the spectacular combined Eventing-, Jumping and Driving Competition on Saturday evening are:

3. Jérôme Voutaz (SUI)
4. Glenn Geerts (BEL)
5. Koos de Ronde (NED)
6. Chester Weber (USA)

These competitors will bring an extra team of horses to Aachen, especially for this class. There is a prize pot of no less than € 30.000 for the riders and drivers. Each member of the winning team receives a prize of € 3500.
