ECH&WCH Exloo: Hand-in-Hand Trophy for Tracy Bowman and Bram Chardon

Because the World Para Driving Championships were held at the same time as the European Championships in Exloo, the FEI decided to once again award the prestigious Princess Haya Hand-in-Hand Trophy.

In 2006, this trophy was introduced for dressage by the former president of the FEI, Princess Haya. Driving followed in 2010. This trophy is the symbol of the integration of para sport in the equestrian world.

Teams were formed in Exloo by a Four-inHhand driver and a Para Driver, whereby the team that had collected the fewest penalty points after three parts won the Princess Haya Hand-in-Hand Trophy.

Para Driver Tracy Bowman (USA) formed a team with her trainer Bram Chardon. The couple was successful, as they both won gold. As the crowning glory of their unique collaboration, they had the fewest penalty points as a team and won the Hand-in-Hand trophy.
