No FEI Award for Marijke Hammink

The Peden Bloodstock FEI Best Athlete Award was won by German dressage rider Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl. She and Marijke Hammink, among others, were nominated for this prestigious award. The Awards were presented at the concluding FEI Awards Gala in Mexico City.

Besides Marijke and Jessica, Steve Guerdat (Switzerland, show jumping) and Ros Canter (Great Britain, eventing) were also nominated. Marijke was the only Dutch nominee and the only representative of the driving sport among all nominees of the four FEI Awards.
