Interesting training day with Boyd Exell

About 150 spectators have already registered for the clinic on January 27th at Boyd Exell's. This clinic is organized by Paardensport Vlaanderen.

Last year, this training day took place with great interest at the ten-time World Champions, from whom everyone can learn something from. The program takes place on the Boyd training grounds in Valkenswaard and is as broad as possible, making it suitable for novice, recreational and competitive drivers. In the morning the program consists of a theory section, including how the reins and harness can be optimally adjusted and the operation of the different bits. In the afternoon program, various teams of ponies and horses come into the arena for practical instruction. The highlight is of course a demonstration by the grandmaster himself with his team of horses.

Well-known instructor Wim de Poorter, from the Appaloosa four-in-hand team, is also going there. “I went last year as well. Boyd can explain very clearly and it was very interesting and understandable for everyone. It is striking that many people who have already been once now want to come again. That is of course a good sign. The fact that attention is paid to the pony teams during the clinic is also very beneficial, because they sometimes are somewhat overlooked. Often everything revolves around the Four-in-Hand horses. Whether you compete or drive recreationally, the rules of driving are the same for everyone and that will certainly be discussed on this day!”

The training is free for members of Paardensport Vlaanderen. For other interested parties, the registration fee is 15 euros.
