Miguel Gutierrez in FEI Driving Committee

The Spanish international Level 3 judge and Level 2 course designer Miguel Gutierrez has been chosen as the newest member of the FEI Driving Committee. Gutierrez will take the place of his countryman Joaquin Medina, who has been a member of this technical committee since 2014. The FEI made the announcement this morning during the FEI Bureau meeting in Manama, Bahrain.

The FEI Driving Committee stated that their preference would go towards a candidate with a strong background in the organization of competitions. Miguel Gutierrez organizes an annual international competition at his home in Salteras.

The other candidates were Jeroen Houterman (NED), Andrew Counsell (GBR), Friedrich Otto-Erley (GER), Hillar Talts (EST) and Chester Weber (USA).
