New stabling area for international competition Exloo

The organization of the international driving competition in Exloo from 26 to 29 March has been successful in arranging a new stabling area close to the Exloo Equestrian Centre. The former parking lot across from the equestrian centre is now able to accommodate all of the shows competitors.

On the opposite side of the street across from the Exloo Equestrian Centre a 2,5 hectare stabling and camping area will be set up and equipped with showers, washrooms and generators. All the ponies and horses will be stabled in and around the equestrian centre where both permanent and temporary stabling is available. Beside the stable a tent will be built to house the remainder of the over 200 horses and ponies coming to Exloo. A separate corner of the new camping grounds will be reserved for those bringing their own stabling.

“We are very happy that we were able to acquire this land at the last minute”, tells Lieuwe Koopmans from the Exloo Equestrian Centre. “it is much better for the competitors to be close by the stables for all of the horses and ponies to be stabled together. It is also much easier for the organization that everything is not split between two separate areas.”

With over 90 competitors representing 11 different countries the organization committee is looking forward to a successful competition.

With the addition of this new parking/camping area the organization will be accepting a few more entries, so if you are interested contact your national federation a.s.a.p. to reserve your place.
