The countdown to the 2020 World Championships in Kronenberg Limburg has begun!

With just 500 days to go, the official kick-off for the World Four-in-hand Championships will kick off this afternoon in the VIP pavilion. The Championships will take place 2-6 September 2020, on the grounds of Grandorse in Kronenberg.

Those present will witness the reveal of the new World Championships logo as well as be informed on diverse aspects of the World Championships. The guests will get a sneak peek at the program and a number of people from the organization, sport and government organizations will speak. Representatives Ger Koopmans and Jan Janssen from the Limburg Horse Sport Foundation will give an extensive interview on the importance of holding the World Championships in Limburg and World Championships Limburg 2020 ambassador IJsbrand Chardon will speak on his successes and his preparations for this seventh World Championship held on Dutch soil.

This networking opportunity is organized by Sander Kleikers, who was responsible for organizing the unique opening ceremony for the World Singles and Para-Driving Championships in Kronenberg last year.

After the completion of the gathering, guests will be treated to a guided tour of the trade-show Paard&Koets and can enjoy the spectacular action in the four-in-hand marathon which will be driven that afternoon on the grounds of Grandorse.

The organization of the 2020 World Four-in-hand Championships in Limburg is in the hands of Horse Driving Kronenberg, the organization that has been active for more than 20 years organizing popular national and international driving competitions. In 2018 Horse Driving Kronenberg organized the successful World Championship for single horses and para-driving, a combination that had not yet been attempted in the driving world. In 2021 Kronenberg will be host to the first World Pair Horse Championship to be held in the Netherlands.
