Van der Wiel Harness forced to stop production

The guidelines surrounding the corona virus have had a large impact on the equestrian sector. The driving world has been turned upside down now that competitions have been suspended until at least 1 June. The famous harness makers Van der Wiel have been forced to stop their production.

Van der Wiel Harness is based in Hamont-Achel in Belgium, which is currently in a lockdown: ‘Because of the lockdown it is not possible for us to deliver the orders,’ tells Henk van der Wiel. ‘We had a very promising start of the season, but this virus is affecting us all. We have completed the manufacturing of harnesses for a large number of clients worldwide, but we are unable to deliver because everything is locked. But the most important thing is that we all stay healthy.’

Van der Wiel Harness remains accessible during office hours by phone and by e-mail.
