Swedish drivers perform well at ECH 2024 venue in Flyinge

In preparation for the FEI Driving European Championship for Youth in 2024, the Nordic Baltic Championship was organized last weekend at the European Championship venue in Flyinge, Sweden. The Swedish drivers performed very well on their home soil.

96 starts

No less than 96 drivers from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania took part in this FEI two-star competition. The competition was held on the beautiful grounds of the national equestrian center. Flyinge is the largest and most famous breeding station in Sweden and one of the oldest, still active national stud farms. Flyinge was founded in the twelfth century and is still used for breeding Swedish Warmblood horses, research and training.

Medals for the Swedish drivers

The Swedish drivers performed excellently on home soil. Linnea Kristiansen won the horse singles class, Oliver Sternhag won the U25 pony singles class in which Sanna Manfredsson took bronze and Victoria Persson was the best in the Junior single horse division. Ella Thorén won gold in the Children single pony class, Lisa Forsdahl took silver in this division.
