Windsor: Jan de Boer wins dressage

This afternoon the pony four-in-hands drove their dressage tests at the Driven Dressage Arena in Windsor. Regular guest of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, Jan de Boer drove his team of Welsh ponies to victory. The second place was claimed by Tinne Bax from Belgium, while Vilmos Jambor from Hungary finished on the third place with his pony team previously owned by József Dobrovitz Jr.

De Boer was very satisfied with his test: "It is good to see that I have a permanent score now. For my two previous dressage tests this season, I received 37 points as well, so my dressage results are confirmed again and again.” said de Boer, who is critical of himself and he still could find some points of improvement in his test.

Sara Howe put down the best British result, finishing fifth in the field of 11 competitors.

On Saturday the marathon starts at 10.00 hrs. International course designer Johan Jacobs has designed eight beautiful obstacles including the new, stunning sixth obstacle, the Land Rover Experience.
